Having just returned from a stay at the Altin Palace, I'd like to share my experience in this small yet vibrant town. The location is fair-close enough to the main street that you can stroll to various attractions, but bear in mind that Comrat is compact. The hotel presents itself as a clean option. The bed was comfortable, hot water was consistent, and the Wi-Fi was surprisingly reliable. I was welcomed to a room that had the basics: a flat-screen TV, mini-fridge, and free toiletries, which made my stay convenient. I must note, however, that my experience was marred by overbooking during the wine festival. The hotel was accommodating but had to send me back to Chisinau due to room unavailability-something to consider if you're visiting during busy events. Altin Palace served its purpose adequately. With good value at around $5.60 for a generous Turkish breakfast, it suits those on a budget while providing decent amenities. Just manage your expectations and double-check reservations in advance.
